Who we are

Chandra Kafle Foundation is a community foundation working in Nepal. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. You can reach us at [email protected].

Information we collect

We only receive what you choose to give us: your name, email address, pledge amount or message when you write to us, volunteer, pledge a gift or subscribe to updates. We do not ask for more than we need.

Information stored in your browser

This website saves two small preferences in your browser's local storage so they are remembered on your next visit: your light or dark mode choice and your language (English or Nepali). This information stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers on this site.

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads, under Google's own privacy policy.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, run our programs and events, record pledges and send the updates you asked for. We do not sell your information.

Sharing

We share personal information only with partners or service providers who need it to deliver our work, or when the law requires it. Links on this site to social networks and other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was given, or as required for our records and by law. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from updates at any time. Email us and we will respond.

Children

This website is not directed at children. Please do not send us personal information about a child without a parent or guardian's consent.
